Researchers reveal to us that it is inconceivable that one does not lie because we as a whole do it consistently, intentionally or unknowingly, in somehow. This research nearly makes the whole thing sound quite typical and that a specific measure of lying is alright, but it is not the same case if you look at it through the Holy Quran. In any case, even the researchers who recently made this claim concede that telling a lie can get to be distinctly addictive and dangerous, decimating connections, families, groups, even entire nations. The Holy Quran is sure about where the great street lies. So here I have the 5 Quranic truths about lying:
•Lying is bad in each and every situation:
weather it is about the wealth or some status position is really something that one should take seriously, take this verse from the Holy Quran, and it clearly tells us not to lie:
“And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ.” [Quran 16:92]
•Never encourage/support anyone who lies:
It is forbidden in the Quran to encourage or support a lair. That is because when you become the part of the sin, you will bear the consequences too. So lead the people towards uprightness, and don't be reason for them going astray.
“And do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Indeed, Allah loves not one who is a habitually sinful deceiver.” [Quran 4:107]
•Lying is a disease:
It is clearly mentioned in the Book of Allah that lying is considered a disease, a disease of the heart. It is also said that this disease will lead you towards serious punishment and trust me; the punishment of Allah is truly severe. In fact, Lying tends to complicate and makes everything worst. Especially the ones who are compulsive liars, they will have to face serious consequences on the Day of Judgment.
“In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease, and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.” [Quran 2:10]
•It leads towards humiliation:
Lying is that one act which can humiliate you in public both in this life & hereafter. Most specifically, this is meant for people who lie about the Almighty, they would be punished in the ways no one can even imagine as it is one of the biggest sins.
“And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or says, ‘It has been inspired to me,’ while nothing has been inspired by him, and one who says, ‘I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed.’ And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], ‘Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant.’” [ Quran6:93]
one should really be careful of what he or she says about Allah, and what he or she says.
• Lies can not be hidden for long:
Yes, it is true. No matter how much you try, eventually the lies will be exposed and so also the liar, the one who speaks the truth in most cases doesn't need to defend himself or herself, because Allah is always with those who are truthful and the truth always be successful over the lies.
“But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.” [Quran29:3]
These are five of the many Quranic verses that you can find about lying. Think about them and change yourself in a positive manner. Think when ever you lie, you'll be humiliated one day, remember when you lie, punishment awaits you in this life, the grave and the hereafter, so always fear Allah & remember Death, those are enough to keep you incheck. May Allah Forgive us our past and not count us amongst those who are lairs.
